She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Daniel and Louise Jernigan Boone; her significant other Bobby C.; and her sister Dixie Thomas of Kinston. She is survived by : her daughter Kelly Pleasant (Rob) of Ellerbe; her grandchildren, Katelyn Shea Sawyer (Miller) of Benson, Abby Nicole Pleasant of Clayton and Logan Sanders Pleasant of Clayton; her siblings, Virginia Strickland of Kinston, Carol Kennedy of Clayton and Jimmy Boone (Jill) of La Grange; her sister-in-law Elneta Currie of Rockingham; and her pet Priss. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
