She was predeceased by: her parents, James Worth Thompson Sr. and Elsie Mae Stevens Thompson; and her brother James Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Roger Britt Jr. of Oak Island; her son Roger Britt III of Oak Island; her sisters, Linda Transou of Marion, Faye Aiken (Harold) of Plantation, FL, Carolyn Hill (Henry) of Elizabethtown and Barbara Driggers (Bob) of Rockingham; and her brother-in-law Kim Britt (Bunny) of Holden Beach. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, convince someone to wear a mask.
