She is survived by: her husband Durral R. Gilbert of Oak Island, NC; her children, Mary Catherine Moorefield Gilbert of Raleigh, NC and Peyton Moorefield Hove Gilbert (Meagan Claire Hove); her sister Kathryn L. Moorefield of Pine Knolls, NC; and her grandson James Peyton Gilbert of Durham, NC.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren.
