He is survived by: his mother Beverly Waldrop Cassell (Steve); his wife Julie Thomas; his daughter Sarabeth Thomas; his sister Jennifer Whipple (Mark); his parents-in-law, Deraine and Arnold Millsaps; his sister-in-law Nikki Price (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Mercy, Sophie Whipple, Ava Price, Micah and Luke Whipple; his aunt LeReve Reardon (late Pat); his uncle Bruce Waldrop (Lestra); and his cousins, Anne Varlotta (Ron) and Theresa Reardon.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Family Life Center of Oak Rige Methodist Church (2424 Oak Ridge Rd, Oak Ridge, NC 27310).
