He was predeceased by: his parents, Darby Griffin Floyd and Marie Floyd Ferree; his wife Ruby Harris Floyd; and his son Paul Edward Floyd, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Joe Floyd (Gina) of Oak Ridge, NC and Sarah Allen (John) of Kernersville, NC; his sister Betty White of Raleigh, NC.; his grandchildren, Stephanie Russell (Mark), Mike Allen (Catherine), Jessie Allen, Paul Edward Floyd, III (late Leslie), Chad Floyd (Nathalie) and Laura Morris (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Austyn, Cainen Russell, Riley Allen, Kaden Floyd, Ezra, Hazel, Silas Floyd, Brynleigh Mae and Mackston Morris.
