She was predeceased by: her fiancé Charles "Chip" Emery Osborne III. She is survived by: her parents, Allen Dean Speight Sr. and Nancy Efird Haywood; her son Cade Efird Turner (Emma); her siblings, Allen Dean Speight Jr. (Wanda) and Jennifer Speight Black; her stepmother Pat Boggan Speight; her nieces and nephews, Kyle Speight and Cortney Speight Davenport (Steven); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ty, Aly, Kandyn and Kallen.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Oakboro Brotherhood.
