She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred N. Huneycutt and Rettie Ann Huneycutt Huneycutt; her husband James D. Evans; and her brother Maurice Huneycutt. She is survived by: her son Jamey T. Evans of Locust; her grandchildren, Cameron Evans of Locust and Olivia Evans of Locust; her sisters, Janette Trull (Olin) of Monroe and Susan H. Flowe (Mitchell) of Wadesboro; and her sister-in-law Lora Huneucytt of Oakboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the BIG Lick Baptist Church (626 Big Lick Rd, Oakboro, NC 28129). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Oakboro Cemetery (1373 N Main St, Oakboro, NC 28129).
