She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Rudolphus Whitley and Eva Eunice Smith Whitley; her husband William Lawrence Jacumin, Jr.; her daughter Karen Elizabeth Jacumin Carpenter; and her siblings, Craig Whitley, Crowell Whitley, Lee Whitley, John Whitley, Roy Whitley, Reece Whitley, Sunie Odessa Whitley, Myrtle Whitley Hamilton, Wilma Whitley Efird and Gatha Whitley Hartsell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Jacumin High (Robert) of Norwood and Lisa Kendall (Terry) of Indian Trail; her son-in-law Ricky Carpenter (Tracie); her grandchildren, Nicholas Carpenter, Kiersten Goins (David), Nathan, Madelyn, Meghan Sedberry, Alyssa Boone and William High; and her great grandchildren, Tripp and Toby Goins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
