He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Hooker and Matilde Wilhelm Hooker; his children, Allen Hooker Jr. (Maureen Delaney) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Ellen Bonczek (Joe) of Wilmington, NC, Sheriff Officer John Hooker (Donna Ghiorsi) of Wilmington, NC and Susan Tallents (Brett) of Fulton, NY; and also, Donna, Dave, Jen, Shelton, Ethan, Emma and Ashley. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
