He was predeceased by: his parents, Macon McCoy Wood and Elisa Godfrey Wood. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Wood; his daughters, Heather Wood of Fayetteville, NC, Whitney Wood (Xavier Gause) of Charlotte, NC, Leslie Wood (Joshua Yanez) and Ocean; his siblings, David Wood (Tara) of Liberty, NC and Phyllis Turnage (Wayne); and his granddaughter Traeley Renee Yanez (Baby Yanez). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made in honor of Greg to SECU Brunswick Hospice House, Bolivia, NC.
