He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Perry and Rosa Wigley Perry Cook; and his sisters, Camie Harrison and Lucy Davis. He is survived by: his wife Janet Turner Perry; his children, Adam Perry (Jessica) of Old Fort, Brenda Rector (Tommy) of Brandon and Justin Perry of Brandon, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Kinley Perry, Matthew Rector, Andrew Rector, Breanna Goodwin, Austin Perry and Caitlyn Perry; and his sister Linda Pugh. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
