He was predeceased by: his father John Albert Ward, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Moore Ward; his daughter Syeisha Johnson; his grandson Elijah Johnson; and his sisters, Anjennett Davis, Mairron Copeland (Frankie) and Phaedralynn Winslow. He is also survived by four nieces; seven nephews; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westmoreland Funeral Home (26 S Thomason St, Old Fort, NC 28762). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
