Jacob leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jacob’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jacob will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Anne Cope Brown. He is survived by: his father Rev. Larry D. Brown; his wife Jamie Shutt Brown; and his stepdaughters, Chloe Shutt and Gracie Shutt. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church (4089 US-70, Marion, NC 28752). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Larry Brown, 881 Hoyles Orchard Road, Old Fort, NC 28762.
