He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Walker and Nancy Ledford Walker; and his sons, James R. Walker and Stephen Walker. He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Walker (Herb) and Joseph Walker (Anglia); his siblings, Sharon Smith (Ted) and Larry Walker; and his grandsons, James Walker, Christopher Walker, Spencer Walker, Cody Gilliam, Jacob Walker and Dylan Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at 211 Miller Ave, Marion, NC 28752.
