It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Hendley of Old Fort, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hendley and Lillie Mae Morgan Hendley; his children, Mona Hendley and Dakota Owenby; and his siblings, Gene Hendley, Dillon Hendley, Clyde Hendley, Louise McEntire, Helen Morrison, Lorean Propst, Ray Hendley, Carolyn Crawford and Margaret DeWeese.

He is survived by: his children, Martha McCane and Scott Owenby; and his granddaughter Victoria Redmayne.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harwood Home For Funerals (208 W State St, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
