He was predeceased by : his parents, George Washington Brown and Ruth Pauline Boone Brown; and his siblings, Carroll "Bubba" Brown (Helen), Gladys "Sis" Silver (Johnnie), Pat Loftis (Dan), Peggy Brigman (Tommy), Penny Medford (Junior), Wanda Wilson (J. D.), Billie Ann Burgess and Brenda Geoghegan.

He is survived by : his brother Johnny "Chuck" Brown (Frieda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
