He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his son Randy Godfrey (Kristie); his grandsons, Colby and Austin Godfrey; and his siblings, Anne Jones (late Jimmy), Bill Godfrey (Robin), Tom Godfrey (Cindy) and Donald Ray Godfrey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillmon Grove Baptist Church (384 Hillmon Grove Rd, Cameron, NC 28326).
