He was predeceased by: his parents, William Truett Edwards and Blanche Geneva Townsend Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Kyle Edwards (Misty) and Clarissa Edwards (Jennifer Haynes); his brother David Edwards (Gwenn); and his grandchildren, Bailee and Olive.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Olivia Evangelical Presbyterian Church (3363 Olivia Rd, Sanford, NC 27332).
