It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Gray Winfrey of Oriental, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gray Winfrey and Nancy Sanderson Winfrey; and his sister Sallie Rush Winfrey. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Lupton Winfrey; his daughters, Rebecca, Samantha (Vinny) and Elizabeth; his siblings, Frieda Hudson and Sandy Winfrey (Kathy); his mother-in-law Brittie Gray Popp; his sister-in-law Joyce Breton (John); his nephews, Harris (Andrea) and Hank Winfrey; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison, Emily, Benjamin and Brayden.
