She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Lawson and Elizabeth M. Lawson; her husband Robert H. Wilkes; her son-in-law Darrell Wilkerson; and her siblings, Gerald Lawson, Dale Nay, Emily Edwards, Faye Foley, Lynda Prevatte and Debra O'Tuel.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Wilkerson of Lumberton, NC and Anthony Radway Wilkes of Orrum, NC; her grandson Joshua R. Wilkes; her great grandchild Jason Radway; her brother Dennis Edwards (Joan) of Hillsville, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Wilkes Lawson (Jerry) and Edna Wilkes Smith (Tom). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
