He was predeceased by: his parents, Deane Lauffer and Emogene Lauffer; his wife Elizabeth; and his sister Diane Heberling. He is survived by: his sister Dawn Taylor (Chuck); and his children, Deane Edward Lauffer (Teresa) of Jonesboro, Michael Lauffer (Peyton) of Felton, David Lauffer (Sharon) of Otto, Daniel Lauffer (Donna) of Turnerville, Georgia and Lisa Elliott (Scott) of Hebron, Kentucky. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
