Barbara Ella Windley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ella Windley of Oxford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sylvester "Wes" Windley and Ella Keech Windley; and her siblings, Lucille (James Windley), Ethial (Otis Stell), Pinear Mae (Ralph Epps), Ellene (Case VanWyk) and Windley, Sr. (Jean Windley).
She is survived by: her daughters, Suellen Howell McCauley (Vince) of Chapel Hill, NC and Nancy Howell Wilkinson (Chance) of Oxford, NC; her grandchildren, Alexander Wilkinson, Matthew Wilkinson, Maxwell McCauley, Abigail McCauley Rankin (AJ) and Emily Wilkinson; and her pug Charlie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
