He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Greer and Rachael Cox Greer. He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Lawson Gatling; his sons, Reginald Clayton Gatling (Veronica) of Durham and Kerry Christopher Gatling of Kittrell; and his sisters, Phgyllis Greer of Aulander, NC and Kathryn Showers of Aulander, NC.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
