Clyde Ronald Cooke Obituary

Clyde Ronald Cook, 69, of Oxford, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born on October 2, 1956 to Clyde Frederick and Edna Beal Cooke in Granville County, NC.

Clyde is preceded in death by his father, Clyde F. Cooke and his sister, Joan Andrade.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Edna Beal Cooke; his siblings, Patricia Julian (Michael), Linda Hughes (Charles), Stephen Cooke and Warren Cooke, and his nephews, Christopher Newton and Brian Cooke.

Clyde graduated from JF Webb Highschool in Oxford. He worked as an apartment maintenance technician in the Raleigh area. He enjoyed gardening and mowing grass. Clyde loved the outdoors and was even the recipient of the yard of the month. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Clyde also enjoyed watching basketball, especially UNC Tarheels. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
