He is survived by: his children, David Matthews (Jessica) of Oxford, NC, Kimberly Currin and Jon Currin (Renee) of Henderson, NC.; his brothers, Glenn Matthews (Donna) of Oxford, NC. and Tony Matthews (Barbara) of Oxford, NC.; and his grandchildren, Alivia, Paisleigh, Brayden Matthews, Geneva Pickard and Avery Currin.
