He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Morgan Jr. and Catherine Rebecca Brandon Morgan. He is survived by: his son Darrell Lee Royster of Durham; his siblings, Onia M. Royster of Raleigh, Catherine M. Morgan of Oxford and Allen Morgan of Franklinton; his grandchildren, Moniqua Royster and Darrell Royster Jr.; and his great grandchild Macari Evans.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home Chapel (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
