The memory of Elsie Jordan of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Elsie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elsie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Wilson Sr. and Mary Stella Guerrant; and her siblings, John H. Wilson Jr. and Mittie Wilson Currin. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Rose Wilson; her sibling's children, Janet Parrott, Karen Rose Strickland (Bruce) and John Samuel Wilson; and her great-nephew Harry Brian Hobgood.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stovall Baptist Church (307 Main St, Stovall, NC 27582). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
