She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Thomas and Hettie Talley Pittard; her husband John Morton "Bo" Crute; her siblings, Eleanor Crute, Rebecca Brewer and Bobby Godsey; her aunt Jettie Webb; and her uncle Harold Talley.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Crute (Cynthia) of Columbus, GA, Danny Crute (Patricia) of Oxford, NC, Tim Crute (Carol) of Oxford, NC, Jerry Crute (Rhonda) of Southport, NC and Patsy Crute of Rock Hill, SC.; her sister Tommie Lumpkin; and her caregivers, Karen Wilbourne, Jessica Locklear, Teresa Riggan, Patricia Taylor, Ginger Pittard and Kaci Pittard. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Amis Chapel Baptist Church (9198 Amis Chapel Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
