She is survived by: her spouse Donnie Lassiter; her children, Gayle Meeler Yates (Brian) and April Meeler Rink (Kevin); her grandchildren, Claire, Lilli, Avery Yates, Matthew, Abigail and Bennett Rink; her siblings, Woodrow (Diane Ellixson), Kay (Kenneth Smith), Ray (Brenda Ellixson) and Gene (Daphne Ellixson); her mother-in-law Mary Lassiter; Mike, Teresa Lassiter, Jamie Lassiter, Scott Lassiter, Janice Driver, Richard and Linda Lassiter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Florence Avenue Baptist Church (9629 State Hwy 96, Oxford, NC 27565). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
