She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Jones; her son Kwame Lawson (Camille); her grandson Kai Lawson; her siblings, Lola Johnson (James), Esther Singh (Teja), Rev. Cleotis Lawson Jr. (Katrina), Noel Lawson and Perry Lawson; and her siblings' children, Tonya Ferrell, Dr. Sharon Thomas-Parker, Sherri Kress, Susie Johnson, Angel Johnson, Karmeshia Tuck, Paresa Lawson, Ava Ayres (Alex), Kelley Lawson, Chenoa Lawson, Cleotis Lawson III (Theresa), Stephen Lawson and Anthony Turner Jr..
Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vernon Hill Missionary Baptist Church (80 Vernon Hill Church Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
