She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Omega Burwell, Sr. and Mishew Perry Burwell. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Thomas "Tommy" Rice; her daughter LaToya Henderson of Oxford; and her siblings, Charles O Burwell, Jr. (Wilma) of Oxford, Patricia B. Brandon of Raleigh, Larry Burwell (Marshalle) of Creedmoor and Annette B. Johnson of Fuquay Varina.
