We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2021, Joan Norwood of Oxford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lonnie Ray Murray and Lizzie Mae Englebright Murray; her siblings, Susan Murray, Ellen M. Campbell (Mike), Norma Goss (Kenneth) and Tony Murray (Teresa); her close friend Gary King; and her brothers, Roger Murray and Danny Murray. She was also cherished by one uncle; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
