He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee McCoy Tyler and Eula Mae Ragland Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Bertina Glover Tyler; his children, Joseph Tyler of Oxford and Keisha Tyler of Oxford; his brothers, Howard Tyler (Carrie) of Oxford and Arnold Blake Tyler (Beverly) of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Chase Harris of Oxford and Cameron Harris of Oxford.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Granville Baptist Church (5643 Old Roxboro Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
