He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Lee Jones and Willis Edward Blackwell; and his siblings, Pat Blackwell Smith, J. L. Blackwell and Ricky Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Blackwell; his children, Renae Bradshaw (John) and Ronnie Blackwell (Crissy Cook); his grandchildren, Jessica Godfrey (Sheldon), Thomas Blackwell, Brandon Blackwell and Haleigh Blackwell (Tim Hinnant); and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Jaxson Coffey, Hayden, Nathan and Noah Blackwell.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Tally Ho First Baptist Church Building Fund.
