She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Oakley and Frankie Clayton Oakley; her husband Edward G. Adcock; and her sister Gertrude Oakley Satterwhite. She is survived by: her children, E. G. Adcock Jr. of Berea and Rae Adcock Irvine of Southern Pines; her granddaughters, Cara Monroe (Jonathan) and Alison Irvine; and her brother Frederick Oakley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
