Martha Pruitt Thompson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Pruitt Thompson of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Milton Pruitt and Ernestine Taylor Pruitt; her siblings-in-law, William Adcock and Laurie Pruitt; and her great-nephew Tyler Adcock.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Thompson; her children, Jonathan Thompson (Katie) and Mary Smith (Terry); her grandchildren, Bryson, Caden, Taylor, Rylee, Maci and Walker; her siblings, Beth Adcock, Anne Whitehead (Roy), George Pruitt (Beth) and Jim Cash; and her sister-in-law Judy Smith (Leon). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
