Nancy Greenway Elliott Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Greenway Elliott of Oxford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey Greenway Sr. and Esther Mae Jones; her siblings, John Greenway Jr. and Dorothy "Dot" Woodward; and her daughter-in-law Debra Elliott.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin W. Elliott; her sons, Mike Elliott and Gary Elliott (Brenda); her granddaughter Ashley Elliott Dickerson (Jake); and her sisters, Josephine and Barbara Jean.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church or to Rushing Waters Outreach Church.
