He was predeceased by: his parents, Rives Taylor and Patty Lewis Taylor; his wife Julia Ann Hamme Taylor; and his half-brother Rives Taylor. He is survived by: his son Lewis Taylor (Gina); his grandchildren, Kyle Taylor and Cam Champion; and his sister Martha Yeargin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home - Oxford (106 Clement Ave, Oxford, NC 27565).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Granville Historical Society or the Granville County Museum.
