He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Maston Slaughter and Betty Williams Slaughter; his wife Joyce Isabelle Daniel Slaughter; and his son Robert Williams "Bob" Slaughter, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Slaughter Moseley (Charlie); his daughter-in-law Cindy Howard Slaughter; his grandchildren, Robert Williams Slaughter, III (Dawn) and Meghan Slaughter Brown (Ward); his great grandchildren, Robert Williams Slaughter IV, Ella Marie Slaughter, Jake Slaughter, Isaac Slaughter and Amelia Brown; and his pets, Tiger and Lady Lily. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
