He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Crawley Whitehead, Sr. and Pattie Lawrence Phillips; his siblings-in-law, William Adcock, Martha Thompson and Laurie Pruitt; and his great-nephew Tyler Adcock.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Anne Pruitt Whitehead; his children, Kelly Whitehead Woodlief (Tony), Jamie Whitehead Weathers (Matthew) and Roy "Trey" Crawley Whitehead III (Heather); his grandchildren, Kadence Woodlief, Hailey Woodlief, Zach Woodlief, Maddox Weathers, Braxton Weathers, Ava Whitehead and Cade Whitehead; his sisters, Patricia Thompson (Michael), Rebecca Wade, Cindy Hinton (Billy) and Dawn Whitehead; his siblings-in-law, Beth Adcock, Johnny Thompson and George Pruitt (Beth); his friend Jim Cash; and his caregiver Gloria Calhoun. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
