With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon T. Williams of Oxford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Thornton and Lucy Mae Comer. She is survived by: her friend Edward Thorpe; her sons, Daonta'Thorpe and Donnavan Williams (Tiffany); and her siblings, Kenneth Comer, Lucinda Wade (Joe) and Jeanette Morton (Alfred). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles' other relatives, friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Betts & Son Funeral Home Chapel (512 Lewis St, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Meadowview Memorial Park Cemetery (6163 US-15, Oxford, NC 27565).
