She was predeceased by : her parents, Hill Thomas Edwards and Lillian Frances Jackson Edwards; and her siblings, Mary E. Harper, Eva E. Elmore, Othela E. Moody, Willard Thomas Edwards (Tom) and Joseph Hill Edwards.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth M. Goss Sr.; her children, Teresa Goss Murray (Tony Clay Murray) of Kittrell and Kenneth M. Goss Jr. (Norma Murray Goss) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Caleb A. Goss, Brooke M. Lanier, Amanda D. Murray and Chase Watson (Brandy); her great grandchildren, Grace, Chloe, London and Carter; and her siblings, Mary Thomas E. Wynne of Henderson and B. Frank Edwards of Middleburg.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dexter Baptist Church (4549 Chewning Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
