He is survived by: his wife Mary Hope Rivers; his children, William Allen Rivers, Jr. (Heather) of Winston Salem and Susan Denise Harris of Henderson; his grandchildren, Hannah Rivers, Emily Miles (Josh), Sarah Rivers, Molly Rivers, Matthew Harris and Luke Harris; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Wansley and Hallie Wansley.
