She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dorsey and Gladys Dorsey; her husband Doc; her in-laws, Wayne Littleton and Rose Leigh Hobgood Preddy; her brother Edward Dorsey (Janet Preddy Dorsey); and her daughter Cynthia Rose Spivey (Rick).
She is survived by: her sister Julia Kathryne Dorsey Palmer; and her daughters, Cheryl Annette Hobgood (Jimmy) and Michelle Dorsey Smith (Tim). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in her honor to Oxford Baptist Church.
