It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lelon Stotesberry of Pantego, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Isaac Lelon Stotesberry and Louise Pinkham Stotesberry; his brother Master Pilot Award; his wife Janice Askew Stotesberry of Pantego, NC; his sons, Donald L. Stotesberry, Jr. (Inga) of Roper, NC and Rex D. Stotesberry (Sandy) of Plymouth, NC; his sister Gloria Sulc of Washington, NC; his grandchildren, Katlynn Cobb (Hank), Megan Stotesberry, Morgan Stotesberry and Donald L. Stotesberry, III; and his stepgrandchildren, Scotty Moore and Mitch Moore (Kaitlyn).
