Gilbert H. Newman Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2023, at the age of 85, Gilbert H. Newman Sr. of Pantego, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Dudley Newman, Sr. and Muriel Wahab Newman; his wife Sylvia Patricia Credle (Patsy); his grandson Tyler Joel Tetterton; and his siblings, Dickie, Tommy, Mitchell, Harvey Newman, Nancy Williams and Nell Sears.
He is survived by : his children, Gilbert H. "Bert" Newman, Jr. (Rebecca) of Winterville, Phyllis N Cordon (Rondol) of Washington, Karen N. Tetterton (Toby) of Bath and Sylvia E. Newman (Karen) of Raleigh; and his sister Florence Abel of Washington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
