He is survived by : his children, Joseph Robert Adams, Jr. (Bea) of Newport News, VA and Robin Boyd (Ricky) of Pantego; his grandchildren, Adam Boyd (Samara) of Pungo, Jeremy Boyd (Pam) of Pinetown, Kristin Sawyer (Greg) of Pungo and Meagan Adams of Newport News; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Kinsleigh, Hudson, Emerson, Molleigh, Brody, Nolan and Charleigh.
