He is survived by: his sibling's children, Connie Midgette (Daniel) of Pantego, Brandon Norfleet Russ (Caitey) of Greenville and James Russ, III of Pantego; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyle Midgette, Kaelen Midgette, Kendell Midgette, Destiney Midgette, Kinsley Russ and Soren Russ; and his close friends, Bonner and Mandy Sawyer.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Belhaven Community Cemetery (1009 W Main St, Belhaven, NC 27810).
