We announce the death of Dolores Adams of Parkton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Demmeka and Bernice Kolter Demmeka; her husband Raymond Adams; her brother James Demmeka; and her granddaughters, Rebecca Adams and Veronica Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Ginny" Moxley (Robert), Shirley Williams (John), John Adams, Tina Rogers (Frank) and Rose Whitehouse; her grandchildren, Laurie Waddle (Phil), Angelia Dillon (Shawn), Christina Joyner (Ben Kail), Ann Deese (David Szyszkowski), Steven Joyner, Jessica Joyner, Joshua Arnold, Shawn Arnold (Chasity), Katrina Arnold and Jamie Gibson; her sister Louise Kendall (Robert); and her sister-in-law Cathy Demmeka. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
