It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Walters of Peachland, North Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bryce Collins and Sarah Molcie Atkinson Collins; her former husband Shelly Baucom; and also Ronald Aaron "Ronnie" Walters. She is survived by: her children, Benny Baucom (Charlene), Tim Baucom (Dawn), Denise McRae (Mark), Lisa Morton (Patrick) and Donna Walters; her grandchildren, Dathan D'Agostino (Marco), Julie Byrd, Courtney Campbell (Verne), Tom Baucom (Kalie), Austin Morton, Baylee Anders (Matthew) and Brandon Morton (Lani); and her great grandchildren, Kiersten Byrd, Adelyn Byrd, Zeke Campbell, Isla Campbell, McCoy Baucom, Lucy Baucom and Madi Blaire Anders.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the New Home Baptist Church (1617 New Home Church Rd, Peachland, NC 28133). A burial will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
